Insert Your Name Here

In the Great Courtroom of Heaven

With Creator Judge God presiding

Jesus stood naked and without defense

When God called my sin to be accounted for

Jesus said, I am her, I did those things, I am here to pay for my crimes

And so it was, Jesus took my place

Was beaten, whipped, shamed and humiliated in my name

HE was turned into the hamburger I had earned

It is the reason Paul was able to say we died with Christ

Jesus did not just become identified with man

He did not just become man

He took the name and the punishment of every man

All the way back to Adam, where the Law of sin and death started

It is the reason we can be certain of our forgiveness

Jesus by an Act of Love, His Good Will, by His choice

CHOSE to take MY (your) name and die MY (your) death

YOU ARE FORGIVEN!!!!!

You are virgin territory to sin

As the God sees you in Christ, you have NEVER harmed any man

Nor broken any Law of God

Jesus died as you and me

This is the surety upon which we stand

Shine On!!!    Laurie

Law of Sin and Death

Jesus Broke, removed, abolished the The Law of sin and Death

If you believe in Jesus, your sins have been REMOVED from you and your account with God

Not covered over but REMOVED

Therefore you ARE the SAME Righteousness AS God, in Christ Jesus

With NO SIN in you, on you, as GOD the Judge sees you

(even if you are sinning right this minute!)

THERE IS NO RIGHT FOR THE CURSE OR DEATH to touch you

With God its one or the other, NOT both

Clean with life or unclean with death

Jesus paid our price

“This IS MY BLOOD Shed for YOU and for ALL Men

FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF (all your) Sins” (parenthesis mine)

This is the Ministry of Reconciliation God has given each one of us

Death and destruction, which entered because of sin, NO LONGER belongs to the Believer!

The Broken Body and Shed Blood of Jesus

IS MORE POWER FILLED than everything in this world

The Name of Jesus contains His Broken Body and Shed Blood

The Name of Jesus IS more Power Filled than ALL you face

Every thing can be named MUST BOW to the NAME OF JESUS

Cancer, death, finances, ALL means ALL

Take Heart Dearest ONE, You have not been abandoned

The Jesus of your Salvation is near

God has written Him on your Heart and in your Mouth

That YOU may have all that has been Promised

Jesus is the Proof, Jesus IS the Feast to strengthen your mind and your mortal flesh

Greatest

When Jesus was destroyed, for my sake, He was also destroying the Old Covenant and its rule of “sin and death”

Because there was sin there must be death

It was the first rule for man, if you eat you shall surely die

The New Covenant changed that

The Blood of Jesus makes us “virgin territory” in the eyes of God, in regards to sin

Where there is no sin, the curse has NO Right, or Power, or Authority, over the Believer, (and the Believer can and must say so, to give the Power and Authority back to God in their own minds)

It is not an easy concept to gain hold of in our minds, as we have been taught …once a worm always a worm

This IS NOT the Truth of Jesus

The Truth of Jesus is our Forgiveness, completely wiped clean of all sin, past, present and future

Not covered over for a later date BUT FULLY COMPLETELY, REMOVED FOREVER

The enemy of my soul (mind) is the one who prompts me to remember my sin, as he is the accuser of the Brethren, and to consider it as bigger than (more powerful than) the Shed Blood of Jesus

This IS NOT Truth

The Name of Jesus IS the MOST POWERFUL item in the universe and it contains the Broken Body and Shed Blood of Jesus

There is No Thing that is bigger than our Savior, not sin, death, sickness, poverty, etc.

God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, are speaking to us always (24/7) encouraging and edifying us to grab hold of these Truths in Christ Jesus

So take Heart Dear One

The Lord Your God IS the Greatest of them all

At Hand Double Dare Day

Look at your hands and repeat after Jesus…

“The Kingdom of God IS at Hand!”

“The Kingdom of God IS at Hand!”

“The Kingdom of God IS at Hand!”

That’s Right!

The Kingdom of God is you, right here, right now!

No matter what the enemy of your soul (your mind), would have you think.

You ARE the Garden of God, the Garden of Eden,

A pure slice of Heaven

With all of the attributes

No dis-ease, no decay, no destruction

Only Life and Life in Abundance

He chose you on purpose and He continues to be your Provision

The Broken Body and Shed Blood of Jesus is the CONCRETE PROOF

God never changes His mind, ever

And He Will Not Change His Mind About YOU!

You ARE Holy AND Blameless in His Sight

You ARE His BEAUTIFUL GARDEN!

Shine On!     Laurie

P.S. I have been on a surprise Righteousness sabbatical, it was tough, it was worth it, and I am back!

To Speak Well of…

To Eulogize someone is to remember them kindly and speak well/ good of them. When  Jesus was at the Last Supper with His disciples, it is a part of what they were doing during their celebrations. During Passover they sang and spoke (Mat 26:30  And when they had sung a hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives. ) and most importantly remembered the Mighty Hand of God that saved them from death.

HE is our Victory!

Laurie

The “Passing Over”

On the night He was betrayed, Jesus and the disciples were celebrating the Passover.

Jesus was REMEMBERING, calling to mind, thinking of, speaking, and singing about the Passover.

The Passover (in part), is the “passing over” of the angel of death, over the House of Israel, Gods children, His chosen people, specifically due to the Blood of the Lamb on the doorposts.

It is the same for us when we take Communion, we REMEMBER our Passover Lamb by calling to mind, thinking of, speaking and singing about His Finished Work …

The Blood of the Lamb, which made us clean and keeps us safe

Jesus TOOK our sin, punishment, curse, condemnation, separation from God

Death and destruction, as a wage of sin, has been destroyed on our behalf

The curse as a penalty of all our choices in sin has been abolished

Because we are clean from sin and death, the Holy Spirit indwells us

Jesus is at home in us now, giving us His strength, wisdom, faith, and Truth

What a thought, what a revelation, death and destruction no longer have a right in my life! Death, lack and the curse, are all ways of stating the same thing, separation from God and His Blessing.

Lacking, dead or cursed… relationships, finances, health and on and on and on, are ABOLISHED! Judged and destroyed by Jesus Himself. Now that’s what I call Victory!!!

This is only a small taste of what was completed thru Jesus at the time of His Passion and Resurrection. Which is what we REMEMBER while taking Communion.

We are His Victory!

Laurie

Starting again…

Thank you to my dear friends! I appreciate your hearts and your encouragement! I am re-starting my blog, as the topic is truly my lifes blood. Condemnation of myself made me leave and Jesus setting me free has brought me back.
My name is Laurie and this blog is not about me, or my natural world, although some of that will be seen here.
At its heart, this blog is about Communion and the significance of the act of taking Communion. This blog is meant to be a beacon pointing to Jesus and His Finished Work at the Cross and our Victory in His Resurrection.

This is about Gods version of the Truth and Grace (that) came by Jesus Christ. It’s about getting us to the place where we no longer live in lack and powerlessness. It is Hope, Grace, Love, Mercy, and Power. Using the actual Holy Scriptures in their context and letting the Bible translate the Bible.
I hope to limit the word “I” and increase our awareness of just how big our God is! Having said that, I assure you that I can get things wrong, I can misunderstand with the best of them. If you have any questions about what you read here, I encourage you to ask God Himself, as He does honor honest doubt.
Starting a conversation with The One and Only is as easy as asking a question.
Ever His,
Laurie

Gods WORD is Health to us

Scripture tells us Jesus IS the Word
Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God;
Joh 1:2 this one was in the beginning with God;
Joh 1:3 all things through him did happen, and without him happened not even one thing that hath happened.
G3056
λόγος
logos
log’-os
From G3004; something said (including the thought); by implication a topic (subject of discourse), also reasoning (the mental faculty) or motive; by extension a computation; specifically (with the article in John) the Divine Expression (that is, Christ): – account, cause, communication, X concerning, doctrine, fame, X have to do, intent, matter, mouth, preaching, question, reason, + reckon, remove, say (-ing), shew, X speaker, speech, talk, thing, + none of these things move me, tidings, treatise, utterance, word, work.
So we can re-read Proverbs 4 to read like this…
Pro 4:20 My son, attend to my Jesus; incline thine ear unto my Jesus.
Pro 4:21 Let Him not depart from thine eyes; keep Him in the midst of thine heart.
Pro 4:22 For they, my Jesus, is are life unto those that find Him and health to all their flesh.
Jesus IS the Word of God.
Jesus is God
God IS Love
Jesus is Love
The Word is Love
The Word is God

Thoughts are things

2Co 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
G3053 (imaginations)
λογισμός
logismos
log-is-mos’
From G3049; computation, that is, (figuratively) reasoning (conscience, conceit): – imagination, thought.
G1519 (to)
εἰς
eis
ice
A primary preposition; to or into (indicating the point reached or entered), of place, time, or (figuratively) purpose (result, etc.); also in adverbial phrases.: – [abundant-] ly, against, among, as, at, [back-] ward, before, by, concerning, + continual, + far more exceeding, for [intent, purpose], fore, + forth, in (among, at unto, -so much that, -to), to the intent that, + of one mind, + never, of, (up-) on, + perish, + set at one again, (so) that, therefore (-unto), throughout, till, to (be, the end, -ward), (here-) until (-to), . . . ward, [where-] fore, with. Often used in composition with the same general import, but only with verbs (etc.) expressing motion (literally or figuratively.
G5218 (obedience)
ὑπακοή
hupakoē
hoop-ak-o-ay’
From G5219; attentive hearkening, that is, (by implication) compliance or submission: – obedience, (make) obedient, obey (-ing).
Bring all your reasoning to the place and time of Christ’s obedience, His Blood at the foot of the Cross.

Heb 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
G5207 (Son)
υἱός
uihos
hwee-os’
Apparently a primary word; a “son” (sometimes of animals), used very widely of immediate, remote or figurative kinship: – child, foal, son.

G3129 (learned)
μανθάνω
manthanō
man-than’-o
Prolonged from a primary verb, another form of which, μαθέω matheō, is used as an alternate in certain tenses; to learn (in any way): – learn, understand.

G5218 (obedience)
ὑπακοή
hupakoē
hoop-ak-o-ay’
From G5219; attentive hearkening, that is, (by implication) compliance or submission: – obedience, (make) obedient, obey (-ing).
Php 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

tap-i-no’-o
From G5011; to depress; figuratively to humiliate (in condition or heart): – abase, bring low, humble (self).
G5255 (obedient)
ὑπήκοος
hupēkoos
hoop-ay’-ko-os
From G5219; attentively listening, that is, (by implication) submissive: – obedient.

These Scriptures show that our thoughts not only should be taken captive if they exalt themselves above the knowledge that we are saved, the knowledge of God it also gives a sure direction. To think of the obedience of Christ.
I have always wondered how little ole me was supposed to take my thoughts captive. I did have some success, I thought by making my mind focus on Jesus, however, as I grew because He taught me in the Truth of what Jesus actually did at the Cross, my thoughts were easier to turned to the focus upon Jesus’ obedience, even unto death on the Cross.
I am not the issue, I am not the performer, I am the recipient of His Finished work, I am the receiver of His rewards from the Loving Father, I reap that which I did not sow, because Jesus paid The (my) Price.
His sacrifice, starting with laying aside His Deity and concluding with His entrance to hell and separation from God on my behalf, is the place of revelation and healing to our minds, bodies, finances, relationships. First and foremost with God Himself.
Pro 4:20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
Pro 4:21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
Pro 4:22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
Gods Word is health to us.

Shame and Condemnation versus The Blood of Christ

Grace supersedes all rules and conventions, period. Our Heavenly Father is NOT bound by our getting the words right in our prayers and conversations with Him. His desire is to usher, (not pound!) us into the likeness of His dear Son, Jesus. The Father judges (not in the sense of judgment (punishment) but in the sense of looking at and seeing the Truth) the hearts of men, not the end result, or the perfection thereof. Do not be concerned that I am about to tell you where you fail. I WILL NOT!!! There is no judgment contained here, yet an explanation of how the human heart and mind operate, and how that is manipulated by our enemy to keep us in the LACK mentality is imperative.
We have been discussing the roots, the foundations for a more vibrant approach to Communion and with this in mind, we are going to explore prayer to find a much needed answer to our enduring questions, where is the Power? Where are the signs and wonders?
Before we embark, please remember that all humans are the same, we operate and think the same way, with the exception of Jesus. This is of paramount importance to understanding the Grace of Our Lord Jesus and the tools He forged for our benefit.
Isa 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Jas 4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
Mat 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

These 3 verses would appear at the surface not to have much on common, however, they are the basis for the next leap of understanding we will make.
James, is the brother of Jesus, according to the scholars. He is the writer of this epistle and well acquainted with the subjects he talks about in his letter.
You ask amiss is the key, but not quite what you think. I sincerely did not understand my forgiveness in the Blood and Body of Jesus. I sincerely was only and always sorry for the person I had been and all my actions. I was unable to move from the position of sorrow and remorse. Why, you might ask?, because I had no understanding of the finished work of Jesus. You could and did tell me a thousand times, a thousand ways, and yet I had no root of it in me. I was ashamed. I felt condemned. My guilt was always face front and forward. I woke up with it, I slept with it. It was my center.
I was like the woman at the well…
Joh 4:29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?
I loved this story when I first heard it and wasn’t sure why, except the parts of her life discussed with Jesus resembled my own. What always struck me as odd was her statement to the townspeople that Jesus had told her everything she had done.
He had not done this, at all, but she was so consumed with her guilt and shame it was all she could focus on. It was her everything, it was her center and her reason for being so late in the day coming to the well in the first place. She was ashamed and feared judgment by the others at the well. Yet this day she found One who did not accuse, did not harass, did not judge, yet spoke Truth of her and her sins.
Jesus, ever so softly, kindly, lovingly, uncovered the thing that was covered, the thing that grew because there was no Light, no Truth shed abroad in her heart. How free she must have felt, the proof of this is she ran to the people whose judgment she was afraid of and said to them “He told me everything I have done”! Can’t you just see her, smiling with excitement and joy. She was free and no longer had any thought of her tormentors except that they too should be free. This is the True freedom paid for by Christ. Not that just I am free but I am so changed, so Blessed, I can’t wait to share it with everyone else.
Oh how I love the Word of God that sets us free. They are my most cherished verses in the Bible. I was under heavy burden, many chains and much bondage. Yet as I have been set free, by His hand I have found (been given) Peace, Joy and understanding.
I was under the delusion that I had to help God fix me. That I had to beat myself, a square peg into this round hole of obedience. As I attempted to be what I was told I should be, act this way, do this thing, say these things, pray this way, I found I no longer wanted to be anywhere near God. I found ways to avoid the closeness, the contact He so dearly loves and I was totally unaware of how desperately I need this as well.
I stopped reading my Bible, I stopped going to church regularly. I could not handle any more YOU MUST DO, because I was failing at them all. I could no more have fixed me than been the man in the moon. Oh, but I wanted to be fixed, I wanted desperately to be different. I was certain that because of all I had done and all I had failed to do God would not, could not and much less want to fix me.
As we read this next scripture we should remember that as Paul wrote it he did not use separating punctuation nor verses, so we are good to remember that all of this I have quoted is one thought.
1Ti 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
1Ti 4:2 speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
1Ti 4:3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
1Ti 4:4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
1Ti 4:5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
Paul is speaking in verse 1 and 2 of people and how they shall be deceived and their consciences seared.
Shame and condemnation are 2 of the most powerful, natural thought processes of man. Our enemy would have us continue to believe that the Blood of the Son of God has less power than the sin I have committed. What a shocking revelation! Here I was truly sad and repentant, sincerely wanting to turn from my sin and in that sincerity I was holding my sin as greater than the Sacrifice and Finished work of Jesus at the Cross!
What, you may ask was wrong with me? Especially after hearing such a blunt statement as I was holding my sin in higher regard than the Blood of Christ. It is what I think James was trying to tell his readers. He was saying to them that they had themselves and what they feared or thought they needed, on their minds.
