And He Gave

Celebrating the Passover (the passing by of death to the Children of God), having broken the bread of my haste and affliction, Thanking the Father, then…

Jesus gave the broken bread of haste and affliction to the disciples

And because He was always reaching into the past and into the future, bringing them to the Present, He also gave the Bread to me and to you

The Bread that had represented all things evil, slavery, bondage, sin, curse, sickness, lack, separation from our Creator, separation from the Father, now had a new meaning

When Jesus Thanked (Blessed) the Father it became something else

The Bread of Life

It became Him,

John 6:48 I am that bread of life. (KJV)

It took on a completely different meaning and stood NOW for something better

The Bread now had a new reputation, the flat unleavened bread of haste and affliction had new purpose, it had been Redeemed

They received the Bread because that’s what you did at the Passover Feast

But what happened next was nothing like the “normal” Passover Feast
